I had a feeling that would happen. The winning solution to anything trying to capture our attention is simplicity. I too found that there was too much going on. "One Stop Shopping" for a resolution of 1440 x 900 can be a bit overwhelming. I found flock that way as well.
It's unfortunate that after a full day's use of Flock that I feel compelled to write such a follow up. For something that showed such promise and incited such a high level of "wow" in me, it quickly left me feeling tired. There's simply too much going on. Too much stuff vying for the same attention in so little a space.

I realized that all I really want out of a browser is to get to a web page and peruse it without other disctractions in the same real estate. No, I should have realized that my leanings towards simplicity would win out here. A great idea and attempt on the part of its developers, but ultimately, Flock isn't the browser of choice for me.

On the other hand, a very simple browser for Mac OS X which also provides a sleek visual tab feature is Shiira. If you use a Mac, I'd recommend at least giving it a shot.
